Facebook's Advertising Policies apply to an ad's content, audience, and the destination it links to. Please review the policies and ensure your campaign is compliant. Here are some common violations:

  • Alcohol - Ads that promote or reference alcohol must comply with all applicable local laws, required or established industry codes, guidelines, licenses and approvals, and include age and country targeting criteria consistent with Facebook's targeting guidelines and applicable local laws.

How to fix: Add the minimum drinking age to all of your targeting audiences. If errors continue, remove any alcohol-related content from your ad.

  • Profanity - Ads must not contain profanity or bad grammar and punctuation. Symbols, numbers and letters must be used properly without the intention of circumventing our ad review process or other enforcement systems.

How to fix: Remove the profanity from your ad and/or destination it links to.

  • Smoking - Ads must not promote the sale or use of tobacco products and related paraphernalia.

How to fix: Remove any smoking related content from your ad and/or destination it links to.

  • My ad follows Facebook's advertising policy - If you believe that Facebook has made a mistake by disapproving your ads, you can appeal the disapproval process here. Copy and paste the message below into the description box:

 "Hi there,

I believe your algorithm mistakenly disapproved this ad. This ad does not violate any Facebook TOS as it makes no False Statements or Deceptive Claims, has no Profanity, and contains no Ethnic or Racial Profiling.

Please have a human review the ad content and approve as soon as possible.

I appreciate your help!

Thanks."
